These accounts allow employees and their families to use pre-tax monies to cover deductibles, copays and other non-covered eligible expenses.

Healthcare Flexible Spending Account

A Healthcare FSA empowers you to set aside pre-tax money from every paycheck to help pay for qualified medical, dental and vision expenses.

  • Annual Max | $3,300 Per Year
  • Use it or lose it: Estimate carefully—unused funds may be forfeited
  • Full funds available: From the start of the plan year (1/1/2025) or initial enrollment
  • Eligible expenses: Medical, dental, and vision
  • Debit card available (or submit claims manually with receipts)
  • Claim deadline: Incur expenses by 12/31/2025; submit claims by 3/31/2026
  • Carryover: $100–$660 may roll into 2026; amounts < $100 or > $660 will be forfeited

Limited Purpose Healthcare Flexible Spending Account

When enrolled in the HDHP and an HSA you may also elect a Limited Purpose FSA (LPFSA) concurrently, allowing you to receive reimbursement for eligible dental and vision expenses.

  • Annual Max | $3,300 Per Year
  • Eligibility: For those enrolled in an HSA + HDHP
  • Covers: Dental and vision expenses only
  • Same rules apply: As Health Care FSA, including carryover and deadlines

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account

Set aside pre-tax money from every paycheck to help pay for dependent care expenses. A qualifying ‘dependent’ may be a child under age 13, a disabled spouse, or an older parent in eldercare.

  • Annual Max | $5,000 Per Year
  • Funds available: Only as payroll deductions are made (not upfront)
  • Eligible expenses: Daycare, before/after-school care, elder care, and more
  • Claim deadline: Incur expenses by 12/31/2025; submit claims by 3/31/2026
  • No carryover: Any unused funds will be forfeited
